No usage caps to think about
There's no separate tier to graduate into and no per-archive, per-file, or per-GB usage fee layered on top of the $499/mo — one price covers as many archive jobs, retention policies, and merge/export operations as your org needs. The only cost outside the subscription is your own AWS S3 storage, billed directly to you by AWS at S3's normal rates, since files live in a bucket you own and control, not ours.

Why per org instead of per seat?
FilePreserve is infrastructure a compliance/quality team relies on — not a tool every individual user opens daily. Per-seat pricing punishes exactly the teams who should be giving broad access to it (auditors, reviewers, approvers), so it's priced flat per org instead.
Is there a free trial?
The plan is yes, a real trial before anyone's charged. We're in the process of getting FilePreserve live on the AppExchange — join the waitlist and you'll hear first once it's ready, trial included.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — no annual contract, no minimum term, and no email or support ticket needed. Click "Manage billing" right inside FilePreserve and you'll be taken straight to Stripe's own billing portal, where you can cancel yourself. Cancelling during the trial means you're never charged; cancelling after conversion stops the next billing cycle.
